Welcome to the website of The East Lothian Pipes and Drums Trust (ELPDT)
ELPDT was set up in 2007 to give young people in East Lothian the opportunity to learn the Great Highland Bagpipe and the accompanying Pipe Band Drums.
We offer free lessons to youngsters in a number of primary and secondary schools in East Lothian, and our team of tutors also visit most of the county’s community pipe bands to support their teaching of the players of tomorrow.
ELPDT Summer School 2013
The ELPDT Summer School will take place at Cockenzie and Port Seton Royal British Legion from 5 – 9 August. Places are filling up fast so immediate booking is recommended. Full details and a booking form can be downloaded below.
